Food Dynamics Limited was founded in 1995 by Richard Seal and Rachel Smith.

Our Business Purpose:

To provide a rapid and cost effective food consultancy service. To create innovative and profitable products.

The founders saw that there were times when the lack of appropriate technical expertise within the food industry could often result in either:

- a new product concept failing,

- a new process idea languishing,

- a cost saving idea never adopted.

Food Dynamics was created to fill these gaps by offering a highly skilled, bespoke, consultancy. One which was focussed solely on the needs of our clients in order to liberate profitabilty from their technical portfolio.

Our Founders

Richard Seal

Richard is a Food Technologist with extensive experience of ingredients and finished products. He has been involved in a wide range of senior management roles in national and multinational companies encompassing technical, product development and business development. His development experience spans the full spectrum from concept to full scale production.
Richard has expertise in both flavour and functional systems. He is the author of a number of publications and is named in three patents.

Rachel Smith

Rachel is a Food Scientist who is widely experienced in the food industry. Rachel brings significant knowledge in the chilled and ambient sectors as well as expertise in creative recipe development. Rachel is well placed to understand the development protocols required to take products from the bench into production, having taken numerous products from development to launch.
